A few years ago we decided our kitchen/living room area needed an update. But we really didn&#;t have the budget for any type of kitchen reno so we just decided to refinish the kitchen cabinets and install new laminate flooring. It&#;s hard to know whether to go with a ekonomisk plan option for something as permanent as kitchen flooring. I decided to share my honest opinion of the floor, the installation, and how it&#;s held up a couple of years later in hopes that it will help some of you man that decision!

    Also, in this article from a credible source, , dated '99/, it makes a vague refrence that the Tundra brand from Ikea *might* be made by Perstorp, who made Pergo before they spun it off as it's own company, I think. Also interesting is Pergo/Perstorp are swedish companies, like Ikea, which might imply a simple, easy partnership.

    I also found this information in a Pergo financial paper. My guess is that they have continued to supply Ikea with flooring, but that cannot be certain.

IKEAs fick inte så bra betyg; en av lustigheterna var att när tidningen ringde till den firma som IKEA rekommenderade för montering (om man inte ville göra det själv) så rekommenderade denfirman att man valde ett annat golv än IKEAs!     Vi köpte å andra sidan svindyrtAllocgolv till köket en gång, de skarvarna tålde inte vattenspill utan svällde och blev fula, men jag tror det gäller de flesta laminatgolv. Det är lätt att tro att man kommer att torka upp direkt när man spillt, men mina barn (5 & 6 år) glömmer det ibland ! Hack och märken blev det också i dyrgolvet, det blir det i alla golv. Frågan är om man kan leva med märkena? Personligen tycker jag att trägolv, till skillnad från andra golv, åldras vackert, även med hack, märken och repor. När det går en flisa i ett trägolv blir det ett träfärgat hål, laminatgolven får grå hål
