Carita Järvinen

Carita Linda Järvinen (taiteilijanimeltään Carita, toukokuutaSipoo – tammikuutaIssy-les-Moulineaux, Ranska)[1][2][3] oli suomalaissyntyinen malli, joka esiintyi myös kolmessa elokuvassa. Niissä hän käytti taiteilijanimeä Carita.

Järvinen esiintyi luvun lopulla Suomessa muun muassa Jallu-lehdessä.[4] luvun alussa hän työskenteli mallina Lontoossa ja New Yorkissa, ennen kuin asettui Pariisiin. Siellä Järvinen esitteli tunnettujen suunnittelijoiden, kuten Coco Chanelin, Yves Saint Laurentin ja Karl Lagerfeldin, asuja.[5]

Ensiesiintymisensä valkokankaalla hän teki vuonna ranskalaisessa elokuvassa Eddie ja naiset (Lemmy pour les dames). Kyseessä oli yksi lukuisista Lemmy Caution-elokuvista, joiden pääosassa oli Eddie Constantine. Vuonna Järvinen esitti toista pääosaa brittiläisen Hammerin tuottamassa elokuvassa Viikinkikuningatar (The Viking Queen). Sen markkinoinnissa Järvistä verrattiin Ursula Andressiin ja Raquel Welchiin.     Järvinen was born in Sipoo on 20 May [2] She started her modelling career in land i norden during the late s. In the s, she moved to Paris. She started modeling for top designers like Coco Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Karl Lagerfeld.[3] Järvinen made her rulle debut in in a French Lemmy Caution spelfilm Lemmy pour les dames.[4]

    In , she had a major role in Hammer film The Viking Queen. Järvinen received good reviews on her part as Queen Salina, but never continued her acting career.[5] In , Järvinen said in an interview that, after The Viking Queen, she had rejected two roles in James Bond films.

    Järvinen latterly lived in Paris. She also owned a farmhouse in Järvsö, Sweden.[1][6][7]
