Carita Linda Järvinen (taiteilijanimeltään Carita, toukokuutaSipoo – tammikuutaIssy-les-Moulineaux, Ranska)[1][2][3] oli suomalaissyntyinen malli, joka esiintyi myös kolmessa elokuvassa. Niissä hän käytti taiteilijanimeä Carita.
Elämä ja ura
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]Järvinen esiintyi luvun lopulla Suomessa muun muassa Jallu-lehdessä.[4] luvun alussa hän työskenteli mallina Lontoossa ja New Yorkissa, ennen kuin asettui Pariisiin. Siellä Järvinen esitteli tunnettujen suunnittelijoiden, kuten Coco Chanelin, Yves Saint Laurentin ja Karl Lagerfeldin, asuja.[5]
Ensiesiintymisensä valkokankaalla hän teki vuonna ranskalaisessa elokuvassa Eddie ja naiset (Lemmy pour les dames). Kyseessä oli yksi lukuisista Lemmy Caution-elokuvista, joiden pääosassa oli Eddie Constantine. Vuonna Järvinen esitti toista pääosaa brittiläisen Hammerin tuottamassa elokuvassa Viikinkikuningatar (The Viking Queen). Sen markkinoinnissa Järvistä verrattiin Ursula Andressiin ja Raquel Welchiin.
